Modern as well as traditional couples slowly and gradually drift into transactional pattern of relating with each other, devoid of genuine love or intimacy. In reality, some relationships can deteriorate into toxic relationship, harming both the partners and their children. Reasons for the same are unconscious for couples, otherwise why would they deprive themselves of the greatest joy in life?

In this experiential programme, we facilitate couples to discover ways in which they can connect and build deeper bonds of love and intimacy. The behavioural processes are many and subtle, yet one can learn and master the same and grow in this important facet of life.

Only couples can join this Lab.

Following are salient objectives of the programme:

★ Understand oneself and one’s partner at deeper psychological and emotional level;
★ Learn essential behavioural processes and skills that lead to deeper love and intimacy;
★ Develop emotional competencies to build effectiveness in relationship that is mutual and caring for both partners’ needs;
★ Discover and deal with deeper psychological issues in oneself that block one from building stronger connect with partner.

Benefits for Couples

★ Enhanced sense of well-being, love and self-esteem;
★ Deeper and enhanced satisfaction in couple’s relationship- greater love and intimacy;
★ Enthusiasm and energy for life and work;
★ Reduction in dysfunctional stress levels;
★ Last but not the least, a happy family and happy children.
 A. Experiential learning

The methodology used will be experiential learning, where participants go through an experience (simulation activities, unstructured activities), reflect on their individual behaviour and the behaviour of the group, and learn from whatever insights they or the facilitators provide.
 B. Tools / Techniques / Case studies

As mentioned above, most of the learning will be an outcome of group experiences and activities – for these activities, we rely on a variety of tools:

1. Sensitivity training
2. Exercises / Games / Simulations / Energizers
3. Role Plays / Case studies / Psychological instruments

The techniques we use are derived from a deep understanding of how groups work together and learn from one another. As a result, we encourage a very high degree of participation as well as experimenting so that significant learning emerges from these discussions.
 C. Facilitation

The facilitator will play the role of observer, interpreter and challenger for the group, helping or at times pushing the group to examine its own behavioural patterns.

The Lab will be facilitated by Pradeep Prakash.
